Intense worship. Friendships. Ministry opportunities. Unique and exciting activities. These are the characteristics of a youth ministry in the 21st Century. These are the means by which youth are discovering purpose in a world that tells them they are here by chance.

Today's youth are seeking truth. A world around them has not filled the void that consumes many young people's lives. They seek substance and reality, freedom from bondage, and understanding of who they are and why they are here. And thousands of young people in the US every day are coming to the saving knowledge of Christ. But who will prepare them?

New Life's youth ministry is dedicated to the purpose of discipling teens, providing opportunity for worship, and reaching the world for Christ. Through Christ, today's youth are finding hope and realizing potential as never before. We seek to partake in that process, preparing and equipping students with truth to live for Christ.

Our Ministry to Youth is one of the passions of our church. We have over approximately 50 students in grades 7 through 12 actively participating in various youth activities.

Our Purpose is to invite students into a genuine, loving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Relational in its focus - a genuinely concerned setting for students to grow and mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ and others.
Relevant to their needs - a place where students can find "real" answers by discovering what the Bible has to say about their lives and their struggles.
Reaching Out to others - empowering and equipping students to share the compassion and message of Jesus Christ to others.

The many parents, leaders, and other adults involved in the ministry make these goals a reality.

Our Youth Groups offer a variety of activities that appeal to students and help them to know God. We have Sunday School for both Senior High and Junior High students. We have an awesome Youth Choir that meets on Saturday afternoons at 1PM.  Other activities include Drama Team, Worship Team, Breakaway events, Lock-ins, Outreaches, Cell groups, Sports activities and many other times together. We have a great time and encourage all students to be involved.

Bible Quiz is a great opportunity for youth enrolled in grades 7-12 to draw closer to Christ, make an impact in other lives with scriptural knowledge, and to meet and to make many new friends. Young people study specific books of the Bible and then compete against other teams at the state and national levels. It’s fun, exciting, and challenging, and will cause you to grow in Christ. This ministry is summed up in Philippians 3:10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death. All 7 - 12th grade students are invited to this fantastic time of music, challenges, and small group interaction. This will be one of the most impacting activities you will be involved with! Simply put, we’re an outlet where youth can minister the gospel through music and singing. Through the Youth Choir our teens learn that they too have a voice and are capable or ministering to others. We teach and train youth in all areas of musical and vocal abilities. Our intent is for them to gain knowledge about God’s Word and a better understanding of their God-given talents. The obvious transition for our youth is for them to emerge from the Youth Choir prepared to become a member of the Adult Choir, however regardless of where their new found knowledge and awareness takes them, we believe that their futures will be bright. If you are a in grades Junior or Senior High School, or if you have a teenager who is, then please considering signing-up for God’s Unit. Hallelujah is the highest praise and what better way to say it than in song.

The youth have their own band and praise team, lifting up awesome and relevant worship to the Lord. They minister in the youth services every Friday night, and often participate in the main services on Sunday evenings. If you play an instrument or sing, and love to worship the Lord, you are invited to join.
