The building is not our vision, but it is a necessary tool to carry out the vision. Our vision is “to be a church not contained within walls, with arms reaching into every sector of our community in the love of Christ, offering a variety of ministries that meet people’s needs where they are, reaching them with the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. . . .” This is what we have been doing since our doors opened. This is the reason that you are here, and that your life has been touched and ministered to. Although we are to be a church not contained within walls, what happens within these walls is very important as lives are restored, transformed, and equipped to minister to others. There are many more, who are yet to be reached.

He has provided and challenged us with this opportunity to move and build in a bigger and better way.  There is much excitement in the air, as we have prayed, labored and given for many years to get to this point, and now it is within reach!
                                     

From Vision to Victory:  3 in 3 to Reality!

It has been a long time coming, and many of you are eager to see it become a reality. We have the potential of being in new facilities in just 3 short years. All that it will take is to raise $3 million in the next three years. It is possible, because almost $2.3 million of our down payment on the land was given in the last 3 years.
 

It will take over and above giving!

God’s pattern has always been that His people would give to build His House (Exod. 35:8, 20-29; 1 Chron. 29:1-19; Ezra 2:68-69). He doesn’t expect equal amounts, but He does expect equal sacrifice. Just think...if 200 families pledged $5000/year, that would be $1 million. If they did that for 3 years, that would be $3 million.  Now, we know that not everyone is able to do that. Some are able to do more, and some might not be able to do as much, but we are all able to sacrifice and make a commitment to go above an beyond. We must each be compelled by the fact that:

If we have the heart to give, the faith to believe, and the commitment to do, then you can expect his miraculous provision. Remember we serve a God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us (Eph. 3:20).

3 Steps to Determine our Faith Commitment

Step 1. PRAY This is the first and most important step in preparing your heart to respond to God’s call to action. Ask Him what He would have you give to help generations to come to find the hope and joy you have found in Jesus. Listen carefully to what He says.

Step 2: PREPARE TO SACRIFICE God does not expect all of us to give equal amounts, but He is asking us to make equal sacrifices. Remember, these are gifts above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings. Think in terms of what you can do without or postpone in order to reach our community for Christ.

Step 3: EXPECT A MIRACLE! We serve an amazing God who is not tied to the limitations of planet Earth. So trust that He will provide for the commitment He has asked you to make, and leave room for the miraculous—especially if your commitment is greater than the resources you can readily identify!
