The Honor Bound is the national men's ministry of the Assemblies of God.  Honor Bound's mission is growing godly men.  The vision is to reach every family in America one man at a time.

Honor Bound is more than just a name for a ministry:  it is a new way of looking at oneself as a godly man.  The major philosophy is to challenge men to think about who they are in Christ when they think about Honor Bound.  Honor bound rests on four major principles:  honor the Lord (John 5:23); honor your family (Matthew 15:4); honor those who are in need (1 Timothy 5:3); and honor those who are in authority over us (1 Peter 2:17).

These four principles principles paint a picture of what it means to be an Honor Bound man.  At the very core of being Honor Bound is the idea of honor in every sense of the word.  If a man can look himself in the mirror, and see himself as someone different, someone dressed in the full armor of God, ready to take on life as a man of honor, then we will have accomplished the vision of honor bound.

The ultimate goal is to challenge men to become godly husbands, godly fathers, godly supporters of their pastors, and full-fledges servants of the Lord. 

An integral part of men's ministry is encouraging every man to see his potently for service in the Kingdom of God, and developing men to become spiritual leaders in their home and families.

Men's Small Groups

In addition to our monthly meetings, we have numerous men's small groups both in English and in Spanish that meet throughout the city.  For more information on small groups click here. Small groups are focused on accountability through vital relationships.  What are vital relationships?  They are relationships apart from which men cannot live and grow, spiritually speaking.  He needs these relationships to grow and thrive spiritually.
